By requesting access to or using The Cúm Cult, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
What this is
The Cúm Cult is a free, community-run safety platform. Its core tool, the Safety Checker, surfaces whether a username has a recorded community safety note; members can also submit safety concerns for review and hold an account. It is provided “as is”, with no guarantee of accuracy or availability, and is an independent project — not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Lovense.
Acceptable use
- Use the platform only for genuine community-safety purposes.
- Don't scrape, bulk-query, or attempt to enumerate the data.
- Don't use it to harass, dox, or retaliate against anyone.
- Only submit information and evidence you have the right to share.
- Keep your account credentials to yourself.
Nominations and listings
Submitting a nomination opens a private review — it is not a listing and does not guarantee any outcome. Additions to the blocklist only ever happen through an explicit, human moderation decision. The public result never shows the reasons or evidence behind a note — the one exception is a scam/fraud or bot listing, which shows that category label.
Accounts
Accounts are verified through a Bond post — there are no email-based flows. Access may be revoked at any time, for example for abuse or misuse. If you change your username, your previous names are kept as aliases so your safety history stays accurate. We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the changes.
Funding
Voluntary support helps fund development and operating costs. It does not influence moderation decisions, blocklist reviews, or community safety outcomes.
Your data
How we handle your information is set out in our Privacy Notice, and you can ask about or request changes to your data through Data & Erasure Requests. These terms are governed by the law of Ireland.
